Another Grandson!!

Well, I am expecting another grandson. I just found out yesterday that my youngest son and his partner are expecting a baby boy. I knew they were expecting, but yesterday they had the first sonogram that was able to determine the gender of the baby. They are excited it is a boy because they already have 2 little boys. I am so excited because my first grandson will be 9 months old when this child is born. Their dads are very close so hopefully they will grow up together and also be close.

My prinicipal told me yesterday that he is recommending my contract be renewed. He asked me if I was going to stay and I had to tell him no. I hated telling him because I really appreciate the opportunity he gave me, but I am excited to finally have it out in the open and be able to openly plan for the new chapter in my life. I am going to move to KY (near Louisville) and hopefully I will be able to find an engineering job. If not, I can always get back in a truck. Not my first choice, but I will do what I have to. I know the Lord has a plan for me so I will just go with whatever comes my way and (try to) be happy about it. I bought Joel Osteen's new book a few weeks ago and finished reading it. I think the book was written for me. It has helped my outlook on my life so much. I need to read it again, though, because I think I can get so much more out of it.

I am excited about moving to KY. I am looking forward to living on the farm. This will be quite a change for me, especially since I have been a city girl for most of my life. What an opportunity for growth. I would love to get all the grandkids up there so they can actually see a farm, barn, tractor, cows, etc. They have all been raised in the city, also, and I think they would like it.

I am taking the girls softball team on a trip tomorrow. It should be fun. We are going to watch a college softball game.
